A Bright Red Bel Air Brings Joy to All My Chevy story starts all the way back in 1948. That’s when my dad started working for General Motors in Hamilton, OH. He always drove GM cars, and my brother, while living at home, once jokingly told him he was going to buy a Ford pickup. Dad simply asked him, “Where are you going to park that thing, son?” After all these years, we are still a GM family. I really fell in love with the 1957 Chevy when my uncle bought a new one and drove around to show everybody.
