Dear Santa,
By Robert Snowden
I can’t believe another year has slipped by and it's once again time for me to put together my Christmas list. This year I've decided to make it easy for you with no long list with dozens of the newest toys. This year's list will only have one item on it. I've been a really good boy this year - well except for that thing with the neighbor and his lawn mower - he should have checked the oil level! I sure hope you won't hold that against me.
Well here’s my list. Like I said, I only have one thing that would make my Christmas perfect. Santa, what I'm really hoping for this year is a nice, shiny, new model 1467, 1964 Impala Super Sport convertible! The one I'm hoping for is RPO 943; Santa, that's Goldwood Yellow and I’d like the RPO 815 black interior. Other colors would be ok, but my heart’s set on this color combination.
Now Santa, here's where it really gets special, please include the RPO L80, you know, the 425 horsepower 409 engine and RPO M21 4-speed transmission combination. That 409 engine and 4-speed will really be a blast to drive! Santa, there are a few other special options I would like to include on my Super Sport. If at all possible, please include the following: power steering RPO N40, power brakes RPO J50, power windows RPOA31, power seats RPOA42, AM/FM radio with rear seat speaker RPO Z10 and the sports style steering wheel and the built in tachometer. Oh, I almost forgot, it has to have a Positraction rear axle, RPO N34.
Santa, I have really been wanting this Super Sport convertible for a long time. I know that you won't be able to get my Super Sport down the chimney and under the tree, so you can just leave it parked in my driveway. As always I will leave cookies and milk for you and oats for the reindeer.
Sincerely,
Robert
P.S. I almost forgot, please, please let my favorite NFL player Brett Favre have a great season with the Jets!
