Yenko Camaro

Don Yenko not only knew cars but as a Chevy dealership, he knew how to massage the Central Office Production Order (COPO) process to get from the Chevrolet factory some race ready cars. Not only did he work his sleuthing magic on the legendary 1969 Camaro, but he also did some similar voodoo with Corvairs, Chevelles and Novas. Don Yenko initially established a performance shop in conjunction with the family dealership in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
