1967 Corvette with a Special “Day Two” Look

1967 Corvette with a Special “Day Two” Look The old adage that says, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,” comes to mind in regard to the 1967 Corvette shown on these pages of Chevy Classics. This car was mildly customized to resemble the “F&SO” 1967 Corvette built for Bob Wingate of Clippinger Chevrolet of Covina, California. The acronym means “Fleet & Special Order” and was the process Chevrolet handled specially prepared cars for VIP types such as high-level managers and others closely connected with the division. Reportedly, a few dozen such cars were built per year during the 1960s.
