2004 Indy 500 Chevrolet Festival Corvette If you are a car nut most likely you have at one time or another watched the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race (better known as the Indianapolis 500) which is an automobile race held annually at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) in Speedway, Indiana. That event is held over Memorial Day weekend in May at “The Brickyard”, is billed as “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” The event is steeped in tradition, in pre-race ceremonies, post-race celebrations, and race procedure.
