In last month’s View, I talked about how important it is to have a game plan when it comes to the restoration or repair of the old Chevy. This month I would like to expand on that topic just a bit. Far too often I hear stories about a person who has become frustrated with a restoration project and is in the process of bailing out! After the decision is made between original or modified, the Chevy restorer is just getting started. I hate to say it but todays Chevy restorer has way too many options! Todays restorer can’t just sit down and order an exhaust system; is it going to be steel, or stainless steel, stock mufflers, or Turbo mufflers?
