Back In the Day ’55

After 20 years of hoping to find my original ’55, which I sold a couple of years after I got married and started raising a family, I decided to recreate a similar car. I have two other ’55 Chevys–one a ’55 Nomad; totally restored to Concours condition and a ’55 Bel Air, totally restored. These are beautiful cars, but they did not fill that need I felt for my original ’55.

I purchased this two-door post. It was a basket case, but with the help of Cambridge Auto in Jeffersonville, VT we customized a ’55 similar to my original car…only better!
