Jack Lazinsk Loves His ’59 Impala For some reason, each time I schedule a ’59 Chevy for a photo shoot, we wind up having unusually cold weather. The day I shot Jack Lazinsk’s Impala was no exception, and we also happened to have a giant super moon. The interesting weather conditions left a locally popular boat ramp deserted, so that’s where he told me his story. “I always loved 1959 Impalas since I was young,” Jack told me. “When I was in college I found a ’59 Impala with a 348—a black hardtop with the same turquoise interior color combo.
