Many of the memorable moments in life are centered around “firsts;” our first kiss, the birth of our first child, etc. One that is always memorable to car people, but sometimes overlooked, is the memory made by taking a classic car to its first show. I was fortunate to meet Blake Petrunick of Lake Mary, Florida when he did just that and brought his beautiful ’68 Camaro SS convertible to the monthly Longwood (Florida) cruise-in, hosted by Cruisin’ Orlando, back in March. “I purchased the car about 18 months ago from a local gentleman in Lake Mary,” Blake told me.
