It’s called a what?

What’ll ya’ have?
Is the phrase the hops use at one of my favorite drive-ins– the Varsity in Atlanta and Athens, GA. As I sit here enjoying my chili dog (heavy on the mustard), onion rings and a Coke, I am reminded of a phrase I’ve heard in our sales and tech departments time and time again…”What do you have?” This phrase is most often used with the ’55, ’56 & ’57 owners to describe what body style they are working on. It’s not because the Tri-5 owner doesn’t know what they actually have. The problem lies in the fact that our definitions, the customer’s definitions and GM’s definitions of body styles have become diluted over the years. So, we thought it would be a good idea to clear the air over the sedan, coupe, post, hardtop and other models we’ve been questioned about over the years.
