One Hot Truck

Ryan and Margaret’s Killer ’57 Rules the South Ryan and Margaret Wheat of Summerville, SC, own this stunning ’57 pickup. I met them at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run on a gray, overcast Friday. I went back on Sunday, when the weather was nicer, to properly capture this beautiful truck on film. Ryan spent 18 months building the truck.  It debuted in March at the Run in the Sun in Myrtle Beach, where it won Truck of the Year. It has an LS engine and a 4L60E automatic transmission, with a 12 bolt rear end from a 1970 Camaro with
