The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting some of the neatest people. I recently had the pleasure of spending the better part of a Saturday afternoon sitting at a table in a Perkins restaurant discussing, of all things, “judging!” At first you might think this was a waste of time, but not with the two gentlemen I was with. Let’s just say that at the age of 63 I was the “kid” at the table. The combined Chevy knowledge of these two enthusiasts is amazing; a term repeatedly used was “Chevrolet Correct.” We spent the entire afternoon analyzing our current judging system and exploring ways it might be improved. No earth shattering new changes came about from this meeting, but I’m happy to report that I will be making some minor internal changes that will be very beneficial to our current judging system.
