With today’s classic car and truck market, hot-rodder’s are always looking for an affordable vehicle for their next project. Everyone knows the popularity of the ’67-’72 Chevy and GMC pick-ups, but in recent years, the ’73-’87 trucks have gained quite a following. Affectionately known as the “square body” years, these trucks were seemingly produced forever. One of the great things about them was the different configurations available. With nine engine options (including two diesels), six transmission options, three wheel-bases, three cab options, and two choices of beds, there is literally a truck out there for everyone.
