Story of my CLSSC 56 150 2 DR

I purchased my 1956 parked on a street corner for sale in August 1980 while cruising around town.  The car was equipped with a small block GM 301 cubic inch motor.  The paint job was burgundy cherry, the interior was in fair condition with black velour seats and shag carpet, 4 speed on the floor.  After about nine years of enjoying it, the front driver side window regulator quit working unable to roll the window up.  Parts were hard to find at that time and OEM replacement was not available.  Fearing of not able to lock the car wherever I
