The Green Hornet (sees red)

This stunning ’67 Stepside is what resulted when a father and his sons decided to keep “the family hauler”

This 1967 Chevy Stepside spent its first years as an apple green farm truck. Then, it was purchased, with approximately 16,000 miles on the clock, by Millard Baker to be used as a daily driver. Millard’s son, Carson, recalls how his dad would always leave the house “spinning gravel taking off in first gear and then taking it straight to high.” As far as he knows, second gear was never used. Carson smiles as he recalls another fond memory of watching Millard change the oil and using the old oil to brush down the wood in the bed of the truck to preserve it. When Millard passed in 1996, Carson inherited the truck.
