THE TACO WAGON
This truck was built on October 17, 1960, confirmed by the stencil painted date on the driver side chassis frame rail, at the Oakland, CA Chevrolet Assembly Plant. The original owner purchased this truck at Frank Parra Chevrolet in Irving, Texas in 1961. This was an original turquoise colored, short step side bed, with no radio, a 235 cubic inch, 6- cylinder engine with a 3-speed on the column standard shift transmission and a 4:11 rear differential. It also featured three dealer installed options: a standard heater, column mounted turn signals, and a dealer painted steel rear bumper.
