No one likes people who run red lights. It’s one of the most dangerous things a driver can do, as it places many people’s lives at risk. Red-light violations are also becoming more common, as drivers tend to stick on the rear bumper of the car in front and continue to roll through intersections long after their turn is over. That’s more annoying than dangerous, but it still erodes respect for the basic traffic rules that allow everyone to share the road safely. It seems like automated cameras designed to catch red light violators would be a good idea, and
